Stuff about me that might interest you...Or maybe not...
Personal Profile
Ok...personal stuff...well...
I'm 32 years old, going to be 33 on March 31. I have taught music to kids as young as 2 in a private preschool, and I have taught choir to junior and senior high schoolers. I've had full-time jobs doing graphic illustration. I've been a waitress, a cashier, and a few other things. I'm currently not working full-time, though I am a part of a Renaissance music duo, the Tulstin Troubadours, who are under contract at Sherwood Forest Faire and the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival. I make custom jewelry, and have an online shop - Knightime Creations, as well as an Etsy shop and an Artfire shop. I also teach private piano, voice, and music theory lessons, as well as doing a few freelance graphic art jobs here and there.
I'm currently dating a wonderful man named Mark (the other member of the Tulstin Troubadours). We've been together since May of 2009. I'm very happy to have found a person with whom I can share my music!
I also had a kitten named Tigger. He was 2 years old, but unfortunately had some liver problems, and passed away October 21, 2001. He was like a son to me, and I miss him very much. See some pictures of him, and my other former kittens Mungojerry and Rumpleteaser by clicking here.
Let's see...what else do you want to know...or does anyone care... *laugh*
I like playing piano, but not practicing *grin*. This means that if it's assigned to me, I'm most likely not going to enjoy playing it...I love playing Meat Loaf stuff (some favorite songs on that page on here) and stuff from the movie, "The Piano". Pretty much anything that has a nice melody and not TOO many sharps and flats *laugh*. I also like to read.
As far as books go, I like Gordan Korman, the Anne of Green Gables series, any version of Phantom of the Opera (a very good one is by Susan Kay called "Phantom"; I highly recommend it), Gone With the Wind and Scarlett, and I must admit, historical romance novels (really good and funny one by Rebecca Paisley called Diamonds and Dreams). I'm also getting into the Dune series by Frank Herbert, and the Outlander series (to die for) by Diana Gabaldon.
As for music, I like an eclectic mix- Cranberries, Meat Loaf (!!!), Weird Al Yankovic, The Bedlam Bards, Eiffel 65, Simon and Garfunkel, Peter Paul and Mary, Blues Traveler, Ricky Martin, Kenny G, Beck, Ace of Base, Elton John, Prodigy, Billy Joel, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Boyz II Men, Brian Setzer, Big Mountain, Elvis, and Nine Inch Nails.....just to name a few...

"And will he Starve without me?" "YES!!" "Then does he love me?" "yes...." "Yes." "On a hot summer night, would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?" "Yes." "I bet you say that to all the boys....."-
